Junior Coaches and Practice Helpers

Forest Ringette is looking for experienced players that are interested in helping our younger players develop their skills and love of the game of ringette during the upcoming season. These hours earn credit toward high school volunteer hours, and we will do our best to match you up with the age group you’d like to work with.

There are two different ways you can help.  You can either help on the ice at practices as a practice assistant (with no additional training required) or take on a bigger role and be part of a bench staff as a Junior coach.  Junior coaches have to be between the ages of 14-17 and need to take 3 online courses.  The course details are listed at https://ringetteontario.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Junior-Coach-Requirements.pdf and all course costs are reimbursed by FRA.

Please contact Adam McKinlay at coaching@forestringette.com if you have questions or are interested in either role.

Thank you!
